Machine safety courses available
machineSAFE is running two courses on machine safety and legislation.
machineSAFE Advanced is a two-day course which launched in late 2011. The course provides information about the latest WHS legislation and is a follow-on from the Introduction Course. It has been specially put together for technical staff who are given the task of building safety features into new machinery or to upgrade the safety features on existing machinery. It delves into more detail of key aspects in safety design and grasps the requirements of AS4024.1-2006 and the WHS legislation.

machineSAFE Introduction is a one-day course that has undergone changes for 2012 based on valued feedback and new regulations and codes of practice being released. It provides a general introduction to machinery safety which is suitable for anyone needing to grasp the requirements of AS4024.1-2006 and harmonised WHS legislation.
