Driver killed after truck rolled on farm

A fertiliser spreader truck has rolled on a steep hill near Warragul, killing a worker in his early 30s.

The man was believed to be operating the vehicle on a farm at Shady Creek when the incident took place.

WorkSafe Victoria is investigating the incident.

The fatality brings the number of confirmed workplace deaths this year to eight, one less than at this time last year. Four of the fatalities to occur this year have been on farms.
