Aussie traffic app for safer driving
Invigor Group has entered into a development contract with the Australia Traffic Network to assist with its digital strategy. It is set to develop and deliver a new traffic app that is designed to enable a better and safer driving experience for all Australians and the world.
The contract has been awarded to Invigor to build the new app, which will have a major traffic big data component. It is being commissioned by the Australian Traffic Network (ATN), which is part of the Global Traffic Network (GTN) - a key source of traffic data in Australia.
Gary Cohen, executive chairman of Invigor Group, said: “The app will deliver an enhanced driving experience to all Australians giving more advanced routing based on traffic flow and traffic incidents. The app is all about promoting safer driving by alerting drivers to areas such as school zones and major traffic delays and accidents.
“We are pleased to have entered into this significant arrangement with ATN. Development of the application will assist ATN to use data to deliver business intelligence and insights for its activities. The contract further enhances Invigor Digital Solutions as a leading provider of business intelligence products assisting companies to better analyse their performance and customer needs.”
The Australian Traffic Network provides the Australian public with up-to-date traffic reports which can be heard on numerous media affiliates across the country, including Austereo, DMG, Network Ten, The Nine Network and The Seven Network.
