Audiometric testing exemption granted by SafeWork NSW
An exemption has been granted by SafeWork NSW for audiometric testing, which will be in effect from 1 January 2017 for a period of 12 months.
Those who are conducting a business or undertaking (PCBU) are therefore exempt from complying with the audiometric testing requirements under clause 58(2) of the Work Health and Safety Regulation 2011 until 31 December 2017.
