The Environmental safety shovel is available in seven blade sizes and four handle lengths, ranging from 527 to 1390 mm overall length.
The blade is manufactured from a polypropylene colour-compounded to BS 5378 safety green with an antistatic additive. The black polypropylene handle is a comfortable 'D' grip.
The range of shovels is resistant against the majority of chemicals, non-sparking on impact and suitable for general industry and spill kits. They are available assembled or as a two-piece shovel (blade and screw in handle) for convenient storage in wheelie bin spill kits.
The shovels are lightweight, between 1 to 2 kg in weight (depending on length), easy to clean, rust and rot-proof, durable and UV-stabilised.
The blades are available in different depths and widths to suit different applications or operators. Use the blade as a hand shovel to scoop up smaller debris or simply screw the blade to the handle for use as a conventional shovel.
