A self-contained breathing apparatus provides breathable air to wearers, such as fire, mining and industrial safety professionals, while they're working in a hostile environment.

Sabre Contour 100 and 300 both operate with a single cylinder, while the Contour 500 has the ability to operate in either single or duo cylinder configuration.

The Contour is both comfortable and lightweight, reducing wearer fatigue. The ergonomic shape of the backpack provides optimal load distribution, allowing ease of movement and is designed to flex with body movement, providing excellent mobility. Air hoses are channelled on the inside of the backplate to prevent damage and minimise snag hazards.

There is a choice of four facemasks that provide wide peripheral vision, helping the wearer to see in difficult conditions. Masks are constructed from materials that provide resistance to chemicals as well as facial impact protection for wearer protection.

The reliable pneumatic system features a simple, spring-loaded piston reducer and the compact side-mounted demand valve provides unsurpassed performance. A shoulder-mounted robust and luminous pressure gauge and whistle features swivel hose fittings for easy wearer access and visibility. All hose connections feature the reliable and maintainable U-clip/ O-ring design. Medium- and high-pressure connections ensure foolproof assembly and eliminate the risk of thread damage.

All harnesses are constructed from materials that exceed the heat and flame requirements for optimum wearer safety.
